As part of Connect's recent growth, we are seeking Billing Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to join our creative and dynamic legal team in Surrey.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (preference will be given to those with experience working in a law firm)
- Experience with the Law Society of BC trust accounting rules is an asset
- Experience with client billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable (experience with PC Law is an asset)
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, meet deadlines and learn quickly
- Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- High standard of integrity and commitment to provide exceptional service
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Mature, reliable and strong interpersonal skills
- Positive work attitude and genuine desire to provide excellent client service

**The responsibilities for this role include**:

- Client billing including providing pre-bills to lawyers for approval
- Process and post client payments
- Send payment receipts to clients
- Respond to clients with general inquiries
- Record disbursements to client matters
- Coordinate with lawyers on their Accounts Receivable
- Correspond with clients on overdue invoices
- Request and coordinate retainer payments
- Receive and deposit cheque payments
- On-site bank deposits where necessary
- Prepare tax letters and rate change letter
- Assist with any administrative tasks, including file closing

**Compensation**:We aim to pay our support team top market rates, actual salary will be commensurate with experience.

**Hours**:9:00 am - 5:00 pm M-F
