**What do Training Managers do?**

**Leading Paladin’s internal training, you will be responsible for empowering Paladin’s front-line Screening Officers and Managers alike with the tools required to meet CATSA service deliverables.**
- Support the Manager of Performance in maintaining a variety of specialized training KPIs internal to Paladin and work closely with the Manager of Talent Acquisition to ensure that our training programs are expeditiously providing training to both new hires and existing staff requiring recertification.
- Oversee a team of Security Contractor Training Representatives (SCTRs) as prescribed by CATSA to support the National Training & Certification Program
- Ensure all Screening Officers and Managers complete internal CATSA curriculum and external Paladin training
- Collaborate with Operations Directors and Managers to create and evolve site-specific training, mentorship programs, and succession planning to enhance our retention and people development practices to produce the most efficient screening operations possible
- Collaborate with Manager of Employee Care to incorporate constructive feedback from Screening Officers experiencing performance issues and from exit interviews to adjust the training program to prevent others from experiencing the same issues to decrease employee turnover
- Infuse technology into our CATSA Training Programs
- Perform several quality assurance functions or audits, including measurement and reporting of training administration, certifications, and security clearances to ensure compliance
- Maintain weekly and monthly training schedules in support of the Talent Acquisition Department across all Regional Operations
- Manage all relationships with any third-party or external contractors

**What you bring to PASS**:

- You are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident of Canada
- You are able to obtain a Transport Security Clearance and Federal Secret Security Clearance
- No unpardoned criminal record
- You have fluency in English, verbal and written (French as an asset)
- You have a diploma or degree in a related field with 3 or more years experience in a similar role
- Experienced leading a team in a federally regulated and heavily audited environment
- Proven ability to collect, synthesize and analyze training data using high attention to detail and critical thinking
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office, ERP and LMS software
- Able to collaborate and influence across several departments and leaders
- You have demonstrated exceptional communication, people and time management abilities, preferably in a high-volume, quickly changing environment
