Job Summary:
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Booking of all training and testing for all in-house and outsourced training requirements for employees
- Maintaining records and spreadsheets and advising management of any staff training deficiencies; following up on all booked site training and ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate training records in a variety of different software programs
- Maintenance and upkeep of training calendars including course attendance registers
- Prepare reports, confirm proctors for testing and prepare and submit payment requisitions to the finance department
- Contact employees with expired certifications to book for renewals
- Maintenance and upkeep of employee training files, including third party website registrations
- Gain the ability/qualifications to instruct on a variety of courses that the company provides in order to provide instructor backup/relief
- Provide reception relief
- Order and maintain training supplies, including manuals and equipment
- Other duties and responsibilities that are assigned by the Chief Personnel Officer

Qualifications:

- Minimum post-secondary education in Human Resources or a combination of education and experience (5 years experience as an HR Generalist)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as: operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, safety rules; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups, employees and managers.
- Possess an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; be proficient using computers.
