Organizational Change Management Lead
(2-year contract)
The LCBO is embarking on an unparalleled enterprise-wide future state modernization initiative. While the marketplace and consumer expectations continue to evolve, the technology landscape transformation will enable numerous benefits, both financial and non-financial including (1) driving efficiencies through flexible and tightly connected systems, (2) improving process orchestration, (3) decreasing system downtime, and (4) reducing exposure to security threats
Doing so will unlock greater business and financial value, drive the desired benefits, and enable the required agility of a modern retailer. This business transformation will require the expertise of a well-seasoned Change Leader to drive the level of change adoption required to improve the brand equity and experience while ensuring the success of the project which is among the top 5 key strategic mandates for the LCBO.
In conjunction with the capabilities being implemented there needs to be business readiness throughout that focuses on the needed changes to streamline how the LCBO operates. To support the capabilities, there needs to be a focus on change management. To achieve the new end state, roadmaps, standards, business processes and technology will need to be designed across all functions of the LCBO. As a key senior leader of the project team, the Organizational Change Lead, future state transformation role will collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to lead this transformation which spans several phases through the course of the project.

This role is a contract leadership position, reporting directly to Program Director, Future State Transformation, and with a dotted line to the Chief People Officer.
- Responsible for overseeing the assessment of the organization’s needs, aligning transition, change management and communication plans, developing and implementing performance measures that assess change readiness and adoption.
- Working directly with the Project Director, System Integrator - OCM Lead, and the Program Leads for developing the change and communications plan to drive support, training plans, change readiness and ultimately acceptance, adoption and sustainability to meet and exceed the objective of successful change agility and adoption with minimum disruption to the daily and overall business of the organization while driving value to Ontarians
- Managing compliance to the project execution strategies and plans, including change governance for specific tasks. This will require making sure change and communication plan milestones are achieved and issues are managed to minimize or eliminate project vulnerabilities or risks
**Requirements**:
- 10 or more years as a Change Management Leader
- Experience leading 3+ enterprise-wide business transformation projects with a number of technologies and delivery experience driving desired business outcomes, identifying gaps and omissions and the agility to design solutions along the way
- Experience working with System Integrators on large business transformation projects
- Outstanding project management and communication skills
- The ability to build and foster solid, collaborative relationships with System Integrators and senior stakeholders across the organization
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with extensive experience managing complex projects, and be fully versed with change management principles
- The ability to influence, persuade, motivate, and mentor others
