**Schedule Information**
- Full-Time: 37.5 hours/week
- Evening and weekend work may be required
- Manager on duty 2 x week; weekends and statutory holidays on a rotational basis
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
You will:
- Serve as a welcoming presence in the centre, representing Miles Nadal JCC and the values we embody in all interactions
- You serve a positive first and last impression for all new and existing members
- Build guest relations through timely, efficient, positive interactions, while embracing a “can-do” attitude.
**Membership Sales, Sales Management and Retention**
- To provide first-class service to all members, prospective members and guests.
- Complete sales activities to achieve personal monthly membership sales targets
- Support other staff in achieving the overall club sales target.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director of Fitness and Wellness to create an integrated member onboarding strategy
- Ensure the administration of new members including completion of membership agreements and payment plans.
**Marketing and Promotion**
- Collaborate with the marketing department and the general manager on membership plans.
- Assist in the implementation of assigned marketing and promotion campaigns.
- Communicate the marketing and sales vision for the membership consultant team.
- Coordinate and propose partnerships with other organizations to promote MNjcc membership.
**Staff Supervision**
- Hire, onboard, and evaluate and all Membership Consultants.
**Budgeting**
- Responsible for accurate Budget Forecasting and Management for Membership Sales and Retention
- Implement and Monitor systems for recording individual membership consultant
- Sales results.
- Approve payroll for Membership staff as needed.
** Leadership**
- Collaborate in creating and providing training to other departments on processes/procedures that relate to membership sales.
- Provide management/supervisory support, and back-up to staff and policy education for staff members as needed, particularly in the absence of other supervisors.
**Budgeting**
- Track department budget, managing expenses, and reconciling as needed with Finance
- Prepare budget forecasts for Membership sales.
**Changes in Employment Description**
Your Supervisor may require you to perform the duties of other positions from time to time, or alter or add to your duties at any time, but such alterations or additions will not be considered a change of position unless you and the Miles Nadal JCC enter into a written agreement acknowledging and agreeing that your position has been changed.
**Expectations**
- Dress code: as a customer-facing role, the Manager of Membership Sales and Retention should be attired professionally while on duty, including wearing a name tag.
- Abide by the MNjcc Code of Conduct
**Qualifications**
- Ability to legally work in Canada/Ontario/for the MNjcc
- Familiarity with CRM Databases, particularly Amilia.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to interact with a high degree of friendliness and professionalism with a diverse range of clients
**Working Conditions**
- This position requires regular in-person presence at the Fitness Centre while it is open. At times, you may be given permission to work from home.
**Physical Requirements**
The Manager of Membership Sales and Retention may move fitness equipment up to 45 pounds on occasion as needed.
