Custom Health is looking for an energetic HR Coordinator to join our growing team The Human Resources Coordinator will be involved with nearly all programs and services that relate to the company’s people operations. The HR Coordinator's duties include posting job openings, gathering information on new applicants, contacting references, and informing employees of their hiring status.

Daily job duties and responsibilities of the HR Coordinator include:
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Answering employee questions
- Processing incoming mail
- Creating, distributing, and tracking documents
- Serving as a point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators
- Entering and reviewing data in our HRIS computer system such as updating, entering data and running reports.
- Compiling reports and spreadsheets and preparing spreadsheets for decision making and review

The HR Coordinator will also be involved in several areas of human resources, including:
**Recruitment/New Hire Process**:

- Participating in recruitment efforts
- Scheduling job interviews and assisting in the interview process
- Collecting employment and tax information
- Ensuring background and reference checks are completed
- Preparing new employee files
- Overseeing the completion of compensation and benefit documentation
- Conducting benefit enrollment process
- Serving as a point person for all new employee questions

**Payroll and Benefits Administration**:

- Facilitating resolutions to any payroll errors
- Participating in benefits tasks such as claim resolutions, reconciling benefits statements, and approving invoices for payment

**Record Maintenance**:

- Maintaining current HR files and databases
- Updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status, and similar records
- Maintaining records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
- Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
- Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews

**Qualifications**:

- Working knowledge of Canadian and US employment laws.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
- Excellent computer skills and comfort with MS Office especially Excel.
- Basic knowledge of the Human Resource department and its working.
- Excellent analytical skills
