**About the Opportunity**

As Communications Coordinator, you will develop comprehensive plans and create engaging content for both public relations and internal communications. This role is central in perpetuating trust, sharing the right information at the right time, and building our brand of thoughtful real estate.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the development, execution and measurement of communications strategies and initiatives related to public relations, media relations and internal communications.
- Working together with our Intelligence and Advisory teams and other thought leaders, proactively engage with media to increase the reach of our trusted market data, intelligence, perspective and experience
- Serve as a liaison to media outlets and the point of contact for media inquiries, build relationships with reporters, editors and content producers
- Prepare and distribute press releases
- Maintain accurate media contact and distribution lists
- Coordinate media monitoring efforts and reporting
- Collaborate with the Vice President, People & Culture and key team members to develop internal communications strategy, put it into action, monitor and optimize results
- Using writing, storytelling and strategy, create and deliver strong, engaging People & Culture internal communications that resonate with our team and support our culture
- Analyze the performance of internal communication channels and develop data-driven recommendations to ensure we’re continuously evolving to meet our audience’s needs
- Together with the Content Marketing Coordinator, build and maintain the internal communications calendar.
- Translate complex concepts into clear, concise communications that are tailored to the intended audience and channel - including FAQs, videos and speeches, web copy, business notifications, and more
- Provide communication support to the Leadership Team, making sure our strategy and goals are compelling and widely understood
- Ensure communications are on-brand, consistent and support rennie’s strategic goals
- Assist with related special projects, meetings and events, and projects, as required
- Proactively research emerging communication vehicles and bring forward creative, fresh ideas that will help move the brand forward and elevate our communications

**Desired Skills/Experience**:

- Undergraduate degree or diploma in communications, marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years related experience
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Articulate and concise communicator, with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to brand style guides and tone of voice requirements
- Ability to research, analyze, and organize information accurately and effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant software, including Cision, Mail Chimp, Pardot, social platforms and a strong aptitude for adopting new technology
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and as a member of various teams
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Versatility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
