Regional Business Development Manager

Creative Door Services, North America’s largest overhead door dealer, operates nine branches across Western Canada and we have over 55 years of experience in the residential and commercial overhead door industry. We provide access solutions by servicing and installing a variety of overhead doors and driveway gate systems, operators and associated controls.
**Role**:
We have an immediate opening for **Regional Business Development** located in the **Edmonton **branch. Reporting to the General Manager, focus will be on enhancing our business development strategy. This role is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for advancement.
**Responsibilities**:
- Achieve sustainable/scalable sales growth in all Branch location segments for CDS and assist GM with establishing performance accountability.
- Adapt, support and execute on sales program for CDS that includes sales process, and sales structure (positions).
- Work with all aspects of the Branch leadership to align sales growth strategy, forecasting, organization’s strategies and objectives.
- Assist GM as required with developing/training/supporting any new Outside Salespeople that are onboarded.
- Collaborate and work closely with all sales team members to achieve Branch goals.
- Through strategic initiatives and effective tactics, build key relationships with all Branch segment customers to ensure Branch sales budget, margin targets and annual goals are achieved.
- Partner with the Director of Sales/BD to identify potential customers and new opportunities for the organization.
- Work collaboratively with Director of Sales/BD to transition key Regional relationships from Director of Sales/BD to RBDM
- Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional groups.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Plan to ensure achievement of Branch targets and personal targets, aligning with company sales policies and strategies.
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent personal computing skills - MS Office.
- Minimum 3-5 years proven professional sales experience or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of “hands on” strategic professional selling with demonstrated proven results.
- Multi-segment sales experience
- Proficient in Professional Strategic Sales Process
- Experience within both Corporate “C- Level” and Private Sector Industry considered an asset.
- Ability to travel within Canada and Internationally as required.
**Education**:
- Business Degree preferred.
- A record of continuing education in professional sales topics, team-based management and quality discipline is desirable.
- Professional Sales Training or equivalent experience
