Expectations

To excel in the role you should:

- Develop sales plans and manage channel activities for the assigned geography.
- Contribute to the development of channel sales, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility.
- Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
- Prepare order forecasts and budgets; monitor order volumes against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures to improve the overall performance.
- May coach sales and/or service sales representatives on the operational aspects of the organization's products and services and internal procedures; on sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets
- Geographical scope: Canada

To succeed in this role you will need:

- Proven experience as an account manager or similar role
- 5-8 Years of relevant experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Experience within Flow Control (specifically valves and controls); Metals and mining industry would is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 40%
