**We are currently looking for a Junior Area Manager** in Quebec.

We are seeking an Area Manager to join our dynamic and growing company. As a Junior Area Manager, you will oversee multiple retail stores within a designated area, Montreal & Quebec City. You will be responsible for leading Store Managers, driving sales performance, and ensuring high standards of customer service across your area. This role requires close collaboration with the District Manager and involves frequent travel within your area to conduct store visits and meetings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Performance Management**:

- Drive store performance through regular visits and coaching to meet financial targets.
- Monitor and track store performance against KPIs, and implement strategies for improvement.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers and their teams.
- Set clear goals, provide feedback, and manage performance to ensure team success.
- **Operations Management**:

- Ensure stores meet profitability targets, adhere to company standards, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily operations and maintain a seamless Omni-Channel experience.
- **Financial and Marketing Oversight**:

- Manage budgets, control expenses, and oversee inventory to ensure financial health.
- Develop and execute marketing plans to enhance store performance and brand visibility.
- **Store Opening and Closing Operations**:
** Opening**: Oversee market research, store design, renovation, procurement, recruitment, training, and opening activities.
** Closing**: Manage store closure decisions, financial settlements, inventory disposal, facility management, and employee transitions.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure adherence to legal regulations and company policies.
- Maintain safety standards across all stores.

**Qualifications**:

- **Retail Management**: Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of leading teams, managing store operations, and driving sales performance.
- **Leadership**: At least 1 year of experience in a managerial role overseeing multiple teams or locations, demonstrating strong leadership and people management skills.
- **Operational Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service best practices.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff, customers, and corporate stakeholders.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and implementing solutions.
- **Travel**: Willingness to travel within the designated area for store visits and meetings.
- **Adaptability**: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and environments, including handling diverse tasks and travel requirements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
