Burnaby, Canada United Floral Inc. (Wholesale Dept) Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Purchase Order Processing**:

- Create purchase orders accurately and promptly in our Order Management System (OMS).
- Record all relevant information, such as quantities, pricing, and delivery dates correctly.
- **Administrative Support**:

- Verify vendor invoices and reconcile them to POs in OMS.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other purchasing-related documents.
- Verify the accuracy of shipment times and arrival dates.
- Compile daily reports on invoice discrepancies, missing shipments, and other anomalies.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Assist in duty coverage for other team members during holidays and vacations.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure operations run smoothly.
- Participate in cross-functional projects as required.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior administrative experience, preferably in a purchasing or procurement role.
- **Skills**:

- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capable of working both as part of a team and independently.
- **Floral Industry Knowledge**:Familiarity with flowers and floral products is beneficial.
- **Team Player**:A willingness to collaborate and contribute positively to the work environment.

Reporting Structure: You will report directly to the Purchasing Manager, ensuring clear communication and guidance.

Schedule: The position is part-time with potential for full-time, Monday through Friday, with hours ranging from 24 to 32 per week.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
