We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our HR team as an HR Assistant in Toronto. As an HR Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews
- Support training and development initiatives for employees
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Assist in managing employee relations issues and conflict resolution
- Collaborate with payroll department to ensure accurate processing of employee compensation

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in HR or related field preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of payroll processes is a plus
- Experience in conducting interviews and onboarding processes

Pay: From $47,976.00 per year

- Toronto, ON M5V 2H1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
