**Role Summary**:
As the Purchasing Administrator you will be responsible for providing administrative duties for the Purchasing department. Complete project-type assignments and act as a liaison between external vendors and the purchasing department.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- New Vendor set up and updates in Mapics/Powerlink
- EFT set up and testing
- Maintain all required documentation of Vendor Master changes to support SOX Audits
- Update documentation from the Production Suppliers
- Maintain the Approved supplier list and C-TPAT Risk Matrix
- Provide vacation coverage to Central Stores area
- Process requisitions pertaining to tooling, capital, general supplies, repairs and services
- Departmental reporting as directed by the Purchasing Manager
- Ordering of office supplies for the Purchasing & Sales Departments
- Perform all job functions in a safe, healthful and environmentally conscious manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Minimum Grade 12 Education
- Minimum one year previous experience in a fast paced administrative role
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing purchasing environment an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office
- Computer skills using Mapics and Powerlink
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Negotiation skills
