Role Description

We are looking for the right candidate(s) to join our team. The position(s) are for Intermediate/Senior outside technical sales representative(s) in Grande Prairie, Edmonton and Calgary. As a Technical Outside Sales Representative your goal will be to develop and support accounts while discovering new business opportunities in the Oil and Gas Industry. Protek will provide you with the support and resources needed to maximize your sales potential. You will be working with a team of inside and outside technical sales representatives that support one another. We nurture creativity and encourage new ideas; while providing mentoring and embrace leadership. Please tell us why you feel you would be a good fit for the position


Qualifications

  • Technical Sales and Sales skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge and experience in providing technical support
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts
  • Experience in the fire & gas detection, hazardous location LED lighting, or related industries
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and CRM tools
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere
  • Proficient in scheduling meetings and executing presentations & demonstrations
  • Meeting with clients over lunch or on an as needed basis
  • Meeting with clients in person or virtually
  • High Level of Customer Service
  • Must have a Valid class 5 drivers license
