About the Role: As a Business Development Representative you will play a crucial role in building and nurturing strong customer relationships, supporting partner enablement, and driving growth through vendor initiatives. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on products and programs for our sales organization, helping to expand relationships and create new opportunities for success. This role focuses on enabling partners through effective communication, education, and collaboration.

Position Level: This role could be classified as Level I or II depending on business needs and the candidate's skill level. This job description is reflective of a Business Development Representative II.

What You’ll Do
Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met, and addressing any concerns with care and efficiency.

Serve as the primary point of contact for Broadcom-specific solutions, providing expert-level customer service and consultations that support success with Broadcom technologies.

Collaborate closely with vendors to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive both partner and company growth.

Lead Broadcom partner enablement activities, including specialized training and knowledge-sharing as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Broadcom's products and programs.

Manage vendor pipelines, identifying and qualifying new opportunities, and guiding leads through the sales cycle to close.

Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure timely follow-ups and maintain accurate reporting on vendor-related activities.

Stay current on vendor products, programs, and industry trends, sharing insights and expertise with the sales organization.

Analyze data to uncover areas for improvement and collaborate on strategies that enhance performance.

Utilize creative problem-solving and technical expertise to configure, price, quote, and process product and service requests.

Provide technical guidance and education on product alternatives and cross-reference support for customers.

Actively participate in account planning and customer consultation processes with the sales team, adding value to the customer experience.

Attend vendor-sponsored training sessions to stay updated on industry-specific knowledge and advancements.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is local to our Mississauga, ON office, capable of working on a hybrid schedule, and exhibits a strong desire to achieve great outcomes

College degree or equivalent work or military experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Familiarity with sales processes and terminology is helpful, but enthusiasm for learning and growth is just as valuable. Experience with data center, networking, software, broadband, wireless, and storage is a plus.

Willingness to occasionally travel as needed for vendor and partner meetings or training.

Ability to operate office equipment efficiently and enter data accurately while paying attention to detail.

Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and a knack for creative problem-solving and decision-making.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and local languages, with the ability to deliver formal presentations and engage in persuasive negotiations.

A collaborative mindset that welcomes diverse perspectives and contributes positively to team dynamics.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively.

Adaptability to shifting demands from both Broadcom and internal teams, performing well under pressure in a dynamic, technology-focused environment.

Ce que vous ferez:
Établir et maintenir des relations solides et durables avec les clients, en veillant à ce que leurs besoins soient satisfaits et en abordant toute préoccupation avec soin et efficacité.

Servir de point de contact principal pour les solutions spécifiques à Broadcom, en fournissant un service client et des consultations de niveau expert qui soutiennent le succès avec les technologies Broadcom.

Collaborer étroitement avec les fournisseurs pour développer et mettre en œuvre des initiatives stratégiques qui favorisent la croissance des partenaires et de l'entreprise.

Diriger les activités d'habilitation des partenaires Broadcom, y compris la formation spécialisée et le partage de connaissances en tant qu'expert en la matière (EAM) dans les produits et programmes de Broadcom.

Gérer les pipelines des fournisseurs, identifier et qualifier de nouvelles opportunités, et guider les pistes à travers le cycle de vente jusqu'à la conclusion.

Travailler de manière transversale avec les équipes internes pour assurer des suivis en temps opportun et maintenir des rapports précis sur les activités liées aux fournisseurs.

Rester à jour sur les produits, programmes et tendances de l'industrie des fournisseurs, en partageant des idées et une expertise avec l'organisation de vente.
