JOB OVERVIEW
The Officer, Accounts Management supports client accounts management activities for commercial, agricultural, and residential real property portfolios by identifying and defining client requirements and determining the most appropriate option to meet client and operational needs. The position participates in the development and monitoring of real property portfolio performance targets to ensure consistency with NCC's priorities and strategies, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.

The Officer coordinates the delivery of account management services between clients and NCC stakeholders and develops and nurtures strong relationships with them by providing exceptional customer service and support; the position also researches and brainstorms new ways to create and manage positive relationships with clients.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in business, marketing, public relations or real estate management, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.

EXPERIENCE
One (01) to three (03) years of experience in real estate management, including:

  1. Providing information and support to tenants and other stakeholders on managing client accounts, including requirements, processes, and procedures.
  2. Identifying issues in client accounts, assessing concerns, and determining necessary actions.

KNOWLEDGE

  1. Of applicable acts, legislation, regulations, policies, and standards associated with the management of real property.
  2. Of public and private sector practices, trends, and developments in real property accounts management.
  3. Of techniques, principles, and methods in collecting, researching, analyzing, and identifying information, results, and/or requests.

ABILITIES

  1. To develop recommendations and solutions to address issues, comments and complaints received from clients, both verbally and in writing to resolve accounts management challenges and to understand the clients' needs.
  2. To accomplish tasks under tight deadlines, while dealing with changing priorities.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  1. Frequently attends NCC properties to meet with stakeholders both indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to dirt, dust, or extreme temperatures.
  2. Regularly drives a fleet vehicle in all weather conditions.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  1. Possess or eligible to obtain Secret security clearance.
  2. Linguistic profile: Bilingual BBB.
  3. A valid driver's license.
  4. Position is in the National Capital Region. The person selected for this position must reside within a commutable distance from the workplace at 40 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
  5. The National Capital Commission offers a hybrid and flexible work environment.
