What You’ll Do

Our Senior HR Compliance Specialist is an expert on human resources legislation and news. They can read, interpret, and communicate key compliance information for a broad business audience through the creation of documents, training, and other content.

As our Senior HR Compliance Specialist, you will:

  1. Follow HR legislative news and updates for Canadian jurisdictions, coast to coast This includes provincial and federal employment-related legislation.
  2. Flag key changes that will affect Canadian businesses and determine changes that need to be made to existing content, as well as new content that needs to be created.
  3. Create clear, concise, and compliant content including policies, letters, forms, news posts, training scripts, and more
  4. Review existing compliance content and update as necessary to ensure we remain at the forefront of employment-related compliance.
About You

You are a professional who:

  1. Has experience monitoring human resources legislation and news for compliance issues.
  2. Excels at interpreting complex legislative content and summarizing key points relevant to Canadian businesses.
  3. Enjoys creating effective and compliant content.
  4. Is comfortable taking initiative to drive positive change.
  5. Has advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with SharePoint preferred.
  6. Has a post-secondary degree in the social sciences, business, human resources, or another related discipline.
  7. Has at least five years’ experience in a human resources role, including responsibility for compliance.

It’s a bonus if you:

  1. Have experience working with legislation coast to coast
  2. Have professional writing experience.
  3. Have a graduate degree or post-graduate certificate in human resource management.
  4. Are fluent in French
