Job Title: Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our team in St. Thomas, Ontario. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing Compensation, Benefits, and Pension programs that support the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business leaders to design and implement Compensation, Benefits, and Pension programs that align with our company's strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and contracts related to Compensation, Benefits, and Pension programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian regulations and laws related to Compensation, Benefits, and Pension programs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate fees for benefit programs.
  • Administer Defined Contribution (DC) pension plans and Registered Savings Plans (RSPs).
  • Provide strategic input into retirement plan design and ensure competitiveness.
  • Analyze compensation policies in relation to Canadian wage laws and market trends.
  • Administer salary reviews, annual bonus programs, and special salary adjustments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Sociology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on Compensation, Benefits, and Pension programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze market data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office programs, with experience in HR SAP and SuccessFactors an asset.
