What We Are Looking For: The Investor Relations Analyst will play a key role in supporting Deetken Impact’s mission to scale our investments in Latin America and the Caribbean. The successful candidate will contribute to identifying and developing a diverse set of funding opportunities from like-minded investors and building long-term relationships, strengthening the organization’s ability to mobilize private capital for impact. This role will work closely with the Managing Partners, leading fundraising but also with our broader team as you gather information for investment materials and collaborate on proposal development. You’ll not only identify and evaluate potential funding opportunities but also contribute to the development of compelling materials that articulate the value and impact of our investments. You will also be responsible for managing the investor CRM database from initial research, through due diligence and investment, as well as preparing and managing documentation in due diligence processes, which will require a highly organized and detail-oriented professional. Key Responsibilities Business Development Support the company’s positioning at events and conferences. Conduct market intelligence through research, data collection, and analysis. Identify and assess new funding opportunities. Contribute to the development of funding proposals and partnership materials. Develop, update, and maintain fundraising and marketing materials. Manage investor and prospect information within the CRM system. Support outreach efforts, investor engagement, and follow-up communications. Investor Services & Communications Support investor due diligence processes and requests. Maintain direct communication with investors and partners. Coordinate investor visits, meetings, and events. Manage and update third-party investment databases and platforms. Qualifications & Requirements Academic background Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline. Experience 3‑5+ years of proven experience in fundraising and/or business development roles. Investment sector: 2‑3+ years (preferred). Candidates with less experience may be considered if they can demonstrate a successful track record of contributing to fundraising, capital mobilization or client/investor engagement objectives. Languages Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken. Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and research skills to identify and assess funding opportunities. Excellent writing and presentation skills, particularly in proposal development. Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience managing complex proposal coordination processes. Location: Preference will be given to candidates in Vancouver, Canada but a remote position will be considered based on experience and qualifications. Term: Permanent.
