**The Company**

B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.

**Position**

Investor Relations Associate

**Introduction**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Work with various internal teams to prepare drafts of financial and operational news releases that are consistent with corporate messaging and manage the publishing process;
- Develop, update, and maintain investor presentations for investor marketing purposes;
- Research and create regular reports and analyses for senior management on peer group of companies for comparison and benchmarking;
- Research and report on relevant market topics and provide insights to stock market activity on the Company, affiliates, and peer group of companies;
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new research analysts and associates;
- Review, update, and maintain database of key consensus valuation metrics;
- Work with senior management to coordinate strategic initiatives with key investors;
- Maintain dialogue and develop relationships with existing and new retail brokers and retail investors;
- Develop answers to questions from retail investors and brokers and make sure communications are consistent and positive;
- Assist in maintaining financial models focusing on earnings, balance sheet metrics; and,
- Perform other duties as required in support of Company objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Three to five years of experience in a similar investor relations role, preferably in the mining industry;
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or similar field;
- Superior communication skills (verbal and written), proactive attitude, and a track record of success and growth;
- Dedicated, well-organized, and resourceful with a high level of attention to detail and able to handle confidential information;
- Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and,
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a group setting.

**Additional Desired Qualifications**:

- Experience working with mining companies, capital markets experience, and a financial modeling background considered as strong assets.

**Job Demands/Physical Requirements**:

- This position is based out of our Vancouver head office with a flexible work arrangement option available; and,
- This position might be required to travel for investor events at times (~10%).
