About the role:

On-site | Full-time

This position is responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable department, with expertise in the end-to-end Accounts Payable process for Canada and USA. Liaise with individuals and departments to ensure all vendor invoices, packing slips, and statements are submitted to the A/P department in accordance with established procedures and deadlines;Provide back-up, training, and support to the Accounts Payable team;Act as back-up to the Accounts Payable Manager to direct work within the team;Monitor the accounts payable e-mail inbox and respond to vendor and internal staff inquiries;Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures;Computer literacy using Excel spreadsheets and Word;Flexible and able to assist in other areas of the Finance department;Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience in a large, multi-currency, multi-branch environment. Experience with BeanWorks or Oracle is an asset.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities;
  • Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day;
  • Ability to communicate via telephone and e-mail without assistance;
  • Manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks such as data entry.

  • An estimated hourly pay ranging from $27.Individual compensation is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training.
