Customer Service/Purchasing Assistant ($42k-$49k CAD)

Job Description:
Are you a dynamic individual looking to contribute to the success of a growing company? Join our team at Visuascan as a Customer Service & Purchasing Associate and be a key player in our market expansion.
Responsibilities:
  1. First Point of Contact:
    • Handle initial telephone and email inquiries from customers, suppliers, and the sales team.
  2. Purchasing Operations:
    • Place orders with various suppliers.
    • Communicate, manage, and follow up with suppliers on prices, fluctuations, and delivery dates.
    • Relaunch pending purchases as necessary.
  3. Order Processing:
    • Enter and confirm customer orders promptly and accurately.
  4. Supply Chain Management:
    • Manage and modify minimum supply quantities based on demand.
  5. ERP System:
    • Take the lead in creating new products within our ERP system.
  6. Returns Handling:
    • Serve as the contact person for returns of miscellaneous goods.
  7. Other Tasks:
    • Undertake any additional responsibilities related to customer service and purchasing operations.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French and English - must be bilingual.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service and supplier purchasing.
  • Ability to effectively communicate over the phone in both languages.
  • Strong computer skills and typing speed.
