OUR JOB OFFER

Reporting to the _Department Head, Customer Service and Disability Insurance_, the **Coordinator, Customer Service** will be mainly **responsible for the proper operation of his/her sector**.

**The incumbent is expected to**:

- Act as the resource person for the sector : answer questions from team and internal clients and handle cases referred to him/her
- Organize support within the team : coordinate time schedules for taking calls, interact with agents to ensure reasonable waiting times, and answer calls as needed
- Handle client complaints : contact clients to understand the situation, find solutions and write decision letters if applicable
- Validate periodically the questions sent to Claims box
- Manage quality and processing times
- Support the Department Head with call centre audits
- Train new employees and participate in continuous training
- Validate and regularly update procedures with the different insurers, set up internal procedures, list them in the knowledge base and communicate them to the persons concerned
- Take part in tests during the implementation or enhancement of work tools
- Communicate any relevant new practices or general information to all employees
- Compile call centre statistics
- Participate actively in team meetings
- Support disability insurance sector employees in their tasks, as needed
- Meet clients who arrive at the reception desk, if needed
- Perform any other related duties as requested by the supervisor
- College diploma or license in group insurance
- Minimum 8 years of experience in group insurance
- Customer service experience
- Keen sense of customer service delivery
- Well-developed sense of accountability
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and organizational skills
- Versatility, resourcefulness and ability to work independently
- Ability to demonstrate judgment, integrity and honesty
- Ability to protect confidential information
