supplementary learning resources (such as course content and handouts) and microlearning opportunities. The Provincial Coordinator, Community of Practice is also responsible for coordinating phone and email support to program trainees and collaborating with the Health-Care Provider Education Master Trainers to align program deliverables with training goals.

This role reports to the Manager, Health-Care Provider Education Delivery.
Provincial Coordinator, Health-Care Community of Practice
Contract:
Full time - 35 hours per week
Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the health-care provider community of practice to ensure continuous learning and peer support programs for workers in long-term care.
Develop innovative microlearning opportunities to enhance trainee engagement and continued learning, such as short videos, online posts, newsletter articles or emailed content.
Develop ongoing opportunities for trainee peer support and connection, such as online peer connection meetings, moderated discussion boards and in-person networking events.
Develop systems for measuring engagement and utilization of the community of practice deliverables and collaborate with other teams to optimize deliverables and reach.
Collaborate with the health-care provider education Master Trainers to ensure alignment between the provincial community of practice deliverables and goals of the standardized health-care provider education program.

You have a post-secondary education or relevant degree in in public health, education, gerontology, social work, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A masters’ level degree is considered and asset. You are a dedicated professional with a strong background in designing and implementing educational programs, particularly in online formats. Your expertise in adult learning principles and engagement strategies enables you to create impactful learning experiences that support professional development and peer collaboration.

You are passionate about fostering continuous learning, applying your organizational skills to manage community-focused initiatives and building meaningful connections with health-care professionals. With exceptional communication skills and a collaborative spirit, you excel at coordinating with teams to align deliverables with program goals. Your experience with dementia care and understanding of its impact on individuals and communities further highlight your ability to contribute to transformative health-care education initiatives.

3 to 5 years of experience designing and developing online learning and training programs, preferably in a non-profit or health-oriented environment.
~ Experience working with people living with dementia or older adults in a non-profit environment is preferred.
~ Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and the seniors’ services sector is an asset.
~ Proven experience developing and delivering online adult education and training programs, including best practices in knowledge translation, adult learning, and engagement.
~ Knowledge of dementia, the caregiving sector, and the impact on individuals, communities, and care providers.
~ Demonstrated knowledge of adult education, training, and program development best practices is considered an asset.
~ Experience in group facilitation (online or in-person) is considered an asset.
~ Flexibility to travel occasionally and work evenings or weekends as needed.


Technical Qualifications
Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Demonstrated experience facilitating virtual presentations or programs using Zoom considered an asset.
Ability to maintain confidential client files, including recording training attendance and stakeholder engagement using Raiser’s Edge software.
