What you will do
As the Director of HR Employee Experience and Change Management, you will be responsible for leading, developing, implementing and monitoring strategies to drive successful organizational change initiatives related to people and culture, whether initiated by Human Resources or Bank executive leadership. This will also include effective internal communications, and robust employee engagement programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and communication skills to champion a culture of performance and belonging and in alignment with the company's goals and values.
Your key areas of accountability are:
- Organizational Change Management: You will develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies to facilitate successful organizational transformations and initiatives.
- Communication Strategy and Execution: Lead the development and execution of a cohesive and effective internal communication strategy for HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Employee Experience, Engagement and Culture: Drive employee engagement initiatives that enhance job satisfaction, productivity, and overall employee well-being.
- Leadership and Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
What you need to succeed
- Significant experience in a leadership role and skilled in influencing and coaching others.
- Strong communications skills and expertise - written, verbal, visual and digital.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Exceptional strategic thinking/planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Expert organizational and project management skills.
- Flexibility in managing quickly shifting priorities and demonstrating change agility.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional client service focus with strong sense of urgency.
Your education and experience
This position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in developing, managing and successfully implementing large scale HR and organizational change initiatives and a Bachelor's degree (i.e. human resources, organizational development, sociology, equity studies, communications); advanced degree preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
What you need to know
- Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual).
- Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
- Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Reliability.
- Relocation assistance may be provided, if required.
