We are looking for a senior System Analyst/Systems Engineer with experience in integrating system components. This opportunity is in the Capital Markets area of the banking sector, providing support for a number of applications critical to the bank. Persons should have a high degree of consulting ability and business acumen, be very technical with experience troubleshooting complex systems, and be very good at problem analysis and communication with business users. This opportunity will be of particular interest to those who enjoy Application Maintenance and Support work, and who really enjoy solving problems. Your future duties and responsibilities:

Provides technical leadership to team members. This includes:
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for a portfolio of applications
• Incident analysis, resolution, and documentation
• Provide root cause analysis of issues reported by users by leveraging data flow analysis
• Provide change management (application and infrastructure) and release planning support
• Develop integration plans for deployment of system changes into existing environments
• Work collaboratively with client BAs and developers in investigating and resolving user requests
• Collaborating with Quality Assurance and Release management teams for implementation of projects and patching release cycles
• Performing manual and tool based monitoring of daily processes and engaging support team when required
• Tracking of processing statistics for all line-of-business, and presenting results to client
• Management of user access and accounts
• Collaborate with other teams to develop installation instructions and build books for systems
• Participate in periodic DR planning and testing activities as required
• Maintain existing documentation and knowledge base for applications supported
• Coordinate with product vendors for issue resolution

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must Have Technical Skills
• System Analysis
• Good problem/incident analysis and resolution skill
• Expertise in monitoring, logging, alerting (e.g. using Dynatrace)
• Technical background to understand the problems (preferably Java applications)
• Expertise in RCA (root cause analysis) and publishing executive summary for the incidents
• Working knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, computer hardware
• Knowledge of ticketing systems such as JIRA or Service Now
• System Integration experience
• Experience tracing log files for sources of error

• 7-8 years of relevant experience in IT application support
• Experience in providing Level 1 and Level 2 support. Experience in providing Level 3 support is nice to have
• Attention to detail
• Excellent technical documentation skills
• Ability to identify automation and process imponent opportunities
• Strong analytical skills; ability to root cause data issues
• Strong communication skills

Nice To Have Technical Skills
• Experience with job scheduler tools such as Autosys
• Experience with compliance applications such as Nice/Actimize
