We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our IM/IT department, you will be responsible for evaluating, designing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting information management and technology solutions, projects, and services across our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, business analysis, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology or business analysis role. You will have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Python,.NET, SQL, and CCL, as well as experience in data integration, data management, and implementing data standards.
You will work closely with clinical and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize IT projects, and will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data models, including data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage.
We are looking for a collaborative and innovative individual who can think critically and solve complex problems. If you have a passion for healthcare IT and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of our patients and staff, we encourage you to apply.
About You- You have a degree or diploma in an IT, business analysis, or health-related discipline.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology, business analysis, or health-related field.

- You have strong knowledge of healthcare and technology industry best practices relating to software applications.
- You have the ability to solve complex problems, identify innovative solutions, and use clinical best practice knowledge of internal and/or external business issues to improve service.
