Senior Systems Analyst

The Senior Systems Analyst will play a key role in the evaluation, design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of information management and technology solutions, projects, and services across Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. This position will collaborate with key clinical and business stakeholders to leverage IT applications aligned with the organization's strategic mission, vision, and goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, business analysis, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology or business analysis role. They will possess advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Python,.NET, SQL, and CCL, as well as experience in data integration, data management, and information lifecycle.
The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data models, including data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage. They will also have experience supporting clinical application systems and related services in a complex healthcare organizational environment.
The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to identify innovative solutions, and a working knowledge of basic systems principles, theories, and concepts within healthcare. They will also have the ability to clearly communicate the organization's vision, mission, and values.
About You- Strong background in IT, business analysis, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology or business analysis role
- Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Python,.NET, SQL, and CCL
- Experience in data integration, data management, and information lifecycle
- Experience supporting clinical application systems and related services in a complex healthcare organizational environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify innovative solutions
- Working knowledge of basic systems principles, theories, and concepts within healthcare

- Permanent, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Bi-weekly
$47.01 Hourly
