The Senior Systems Analyst will play a key role in evaluating, designing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting information management and technology solutions, projects, and services across Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. This position will collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders to leverage IT applications aligned with the organization's strategic mission, vision, and goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, business analysis, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology or business analysis role. They will possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Python,.NET, SQL, and CCL, as well as experience in data integration, data management, and implementing data standards.
The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data models, including data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage. They will also have experience supporting clinical application systems and related services in a complex healthcare organizational environment.
The successful candidate will be able to relay or explain complex issues or difficult scenarios to clinical and business staff, and will have a strong knowledge of healthcare and technology industry best practices relating to software applications.
The Senior Systems Analyst will be committed to a high standard of performance and will provide support across the organization to leverage IT applications aligned with the organization's strategic mission, vision, and goals.
About You- Strong background in IT, business analysis, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology or business analysis role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Python,.NET, SQL, and CCL
- Experience in data integration, data management, and implementing data standards
- Experience supporting clinical application systems and related services in a complex healthcare organizational environment
- Strong knowledge of healthcare and technology industry best practices relating to software applications
- Permanent, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Bi-weekly
- $47.01 Hourly
