A career as a Senior Advisor in the Financial Markets Business Strategy group at National Bank of Canada, you will act as an expert in university recruitment and play a key support role for the team. This position will allow you to make a positive impact on our organization with your excellent planning and leadership skills in the Campus recruitment strategy. You will be responsible for meeting the recruitment needs of the Financial Markets teams across Canada.

Your Job

Develop relationships with different universities, students and the business in order to better meet recruitment needs and optimize the choice in recruitment events
Ensure visibility of the sector on the various campuses as well as on social media
Organize and/or participate in campus activities, in collaboration with business representatives, and promote career opportunities at National Bank Financial Markets
Coordinate the various internship and co-op programs (maintain posting timelines, pre-screen the candidates…)
Ensure a seamless intern experience: welcome and offer support to the interns as well as collect their feedback
Monitor the competition with regard to recruitment practices for interns
Be part of the evolution of our university recruitment practices

Your Team
This position is based in Montreal, more specifically within the Business Strategy team in Financial Markets. You will report to the Vice-President, Business Strategy - Financial Markets. You will oversee daily business operational functioning of recruitment events and processes and ensure efficiency and optimal workflows.
To master your role, you will have extensive on-the-job learning. You can access training content to support your ongoing learning. You’ll also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience, and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, administration or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience
Experience in university recruitment is an asset
Ability to work well under pressure and deal with tight timelines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills and proactive
Ability to adapt quickly
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
Experience in Financial Markets is an asset
