About The Company

Our client, one of British Columbia's most prestigious full-service law firms, is currently in search of a Legal Administrative Assistant to support the professionals in their Surrey office, while also supporting with day-to-day billing and docketing duties, and occasional reception coverage.

About The Role

Supporting a solicitor's practice, the incumbent will partner with professionals to draft and maintain all manner of business law (corporate commercial transactions, wills/estates administration, real estate transactions) files. Secondarily, the incumbent will support the firm's operational group in coordinating billings.

The Offer

The firm offers a unique opportunity to build foundational knowledge in multiple legal practices while also playing a pivotal role in the office's day-to-day operational goals.

Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 per annum.

What You Bring

As the ideal candidate, you possess 2+ years' experience supporting senior level professionals in day-to-day file management, calendar management, and legal administrative duties. You also possess experience with billing and docketing in a legal office and are an expert communicator. You have successfully attained a legal administrative or paralegal certification. You are versed in the entire MS Office Suite, PC Law (or similar) and a document management system.
