We are a boutique Surrey Notary practice that provides legal services to clients in areas of Real Estate, Wills & Estates and Notarization of various documents.

Our firm is service-oriented and we pride ourselves in providing an exceptional client experience. We are currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant.
- Minimum 2 years of office experience with a focus on BC real estate experience as a conveyancer/legal assistant handling residential real estate files, including purchases, mortgages, sales and refinances
- LAA certification from a recognized program is an asset
- Ability to handle high volume of transactions and deadlines
- Knowledge about Real Estate Practice Guidelines, Land Title Act and other procedures, statutes, rules, and regulations applicable to residential real estate in BC
- Experience handling real estate files from the beginning to the end which includes client contact, drafting documents, correspondence with parties involved, scheduling, and post closing matters including bank runs
- Manage phone lines with inquiries from clients and other law offices in a professional manner
- Experience with drafting documents with Wills and Estates is an asset
- Knowledge of the requirements for stating and witnessing international documents, Affidavits, Invitation Letters, etc.
- Strong technical skills, with excellent proficiency with Microsoft office
- Experience with ProSuite, Soluno, myLTSA, LOTR, Quickbooks, and BC Online
- Ability to work independently and without supervision by being able to manage duties without reminders
- Exceptional written and verbal skills, with meticulous attention to detail and communication skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple files and types of transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Experience and willing to assist in other general notary related tasks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

- Weekends as needed

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Conveyancing: 1 year (preferred)
- Legal drafting: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative Assistants & Receptionists: 1 year (required)
