Operating in approximately 300 municipalities across Canada, the Group provides a diverse offering of services ranging from retail gasoline and propane operations to event and construction rentals to commercial waste disposal and recycling services.

As part of its ongoing growth initiative, the Super Save Group of Companies is looking to add a motivated, confident legal assistant to its evolving in-house legal team. Reporting directly to the General Counsel and Litigation Counsel, you will provide wide-ranging legal support to the company’s in-house lawyers.

**The Role**

You will assist in the litigation process from start to finish. On occasion, you will attend settlement conferences, trials, and other court proceedings as an authorized representative of the company.

The successful applicant will have superior organizational skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Common duties will include:

- Digital and physical organization of files;
- Setting court dates and communicating with registries;
- Preparing and drafting various correspondence and legal documents including court pleadings;
- Maintaining a file management and bring forward system
- Communicating, negotiating and facilitating settlements with defendants; and
- General administrative duties as required

**Qualifications**
- At least 1 year relevant work experience
- Legal administrative assistant qualifications
- Must be permitted to work in Canada. This is not a remote work opportunity.

**Compensation**: Commensurate with Experience
