Summary of Job: The Regional Director of Community Relations is responsible for leading the sales team in attainment of overall and individual sales objectives and revenue growth for both Home Health and Hospice. Collaborates with CEO, President, and Administrator and to develop and implement local sales plans and to coordinate with operational and clinical leadership to ensure extraordinary customer service and fulfill HealthFlex promises. The role is also responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, coaching, managing and disciplining the sales team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Drives the company’s product positioning strategy and execution through oversight of the overall marketing message
  • Leads, manages and develops the sales and customer relations staff to accomplish referral and financial goals, in support of providing high quality clinical outcomes with a high level of patient satisfaction
  • Participates in the design and implementation of sales and marketing plans for Home Health and Hospice offerings, consistent with market analysis and reflecting referral source goals.
  • Responsible for census development through the implementation of external and internal sales, marketing, customer relations programs with both existing and new accounts.
  • Works with CEO, President and Administrator to identify and recommend development of new product/service/niche markets and offerings, as well as current product/service enhancements.
  • Creates opportunities for continuous improvement of staff performance, development, and morale through fair and accurate performance evaluations on time per HealthFlex policy.
  • Performs routine ride along with new Community Liaison/Patient Advocates as well as annual check-ins.
  • Daily coaching and mentoring to Community Liaison/Patient Advocates to increase organizational performance.
  • Coordinators on a routine basis to provide assistance, support, guidance to the community liaison team.
  • Develops strategies for the team, helps them reach their goals and increase our census and monthly intake.
  • Develops meetings to enhance and implement Patient retention program: Admission follow-up call as well as implementing program for previous patients (21 days)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree related to communication, commercial arts, or marketing preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills including influence, collaboration, motivation, follow-through, negotiation, and relationship-building.
  • Superior skills in common marketing and production tools including Salesforce
  • Experience managing and motivating team members
