This role is based in our Vancouver office and will be reporting to the CEO.The Sales Director at VoPay will use their natural ability to build relationships and influence others to develop and execute a robust sales strategy, build, mentor and train a high-performing team, work cross functionally to ensure alignment with company objectives and drive revenue growth.   • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, expand market share and revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities, explore new and emerging markets, pursue new client acquisition opportunities within target verticals and partnerships to enhance growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales representatives, fostering a collaborative and high-achieving sales culture.
  • Set team performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and recognize outstanding achievements.
  • Set quarterly and annual sales goals aligning with company objectives
  • Forecast sales targets and monitor performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, track lead generation and conversion rates, and ensure consistent pipeline growth.
  • Develop and refine the sales playbook and supporting materials, continuously improving sales processes.
  • Conduct market analysis, identify competitive trends, and develop effective strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Finance and Operations to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Provide insights on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities to inform product development and marketing strategies
  • Partner with Finance to establish pricing models and proposals
  • Use CRM tools and analytics to optimize sales processes and improve efficiency
  • Represent VoPay at industry events and thought leadership forums.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related or technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, leading a commissioned sales team, with a proven track record of success in SaaS sales and business development. Experience in a growth or scale-up firm is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentorship and continuous feedback to drive results.
  • Strong understanding of the fintech and payment industry landscape is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • A self-driven, results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • North American sales experience in Canada and United States
  • Experience selling Fintech and/or SaaS solutions that require technical integration with third-party software/platforms is an asset.
  • A valid passport with no travel restrictions for occasional travel both domestic and international, approximately 25%.
The base salary range for this position will be between $110,000.00 CAD - $130,000 CAD and will be eligible to participate in the company’s commission structure.What We Offer:
