Job Title: Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our dynamic Sales team at VIA Rail. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the North American markets, including US, Mexico, Brazil, and Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

• Identify and target tour operators, and other potential partners globally to promote our rail travel services.

• Act as the primary point of contact for tour operators, understanding client needs and tailoring our offerings to meet their requirements.

• Manage travel trade Fams and Media Fams from these markets to maximize VIA's presence and increase sales of our VIA products, year-round.

• Establish and maintain good relationships with travel industry partners in these markets to further expand VIA's presence and sales.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.

• Proven experience of 5 years or more in leisure travel sales, preferably in the US and Mexico market.

• Strong network and existing relationships within the travel operator and travel industry space.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Knowledge of Salesforce and Power BI is a plus.

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
