Responsibilities:
We are looking for an expert of computing and semiconductors. This role of Strategic Research Expert will be responsible for analyzing the strategic trend in areas such as new computing architectures, new computing paradigms, new processes for chip manufacturing and new materials for semiconductors. The candidate will play the key role of "technology diplomat and strategic thinker" of the Institute of Strategy Research. This role will deliver independent consulting reports, and support the company's major technology strategy and investment in the computing and semiconductors field.
- Gain insights into the latest technologies in computing architecture, computing paradigm, chip manufacturing, and semiconductor material and process fields, analyze the technology hotspots of leading enterprises and research institutes in the field, explore new challenges and opportunities in the field, explore new technical directions, and provide strategic thinking and investment suggestions in the field.
- Participate in academic conferences and industry summits in the fields of computing architecture, computing paradigm, chip manufacturing, and semiconductor materials and techniques in North America, communicate with experts in the fields, discuss important research directions and technical hotspots, and deliver technical analysis reports and feasibility suggestions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of major technological breakthroughs, technological investments, and technological directions in the fields of computing architecture, computing paradigm, chip manufacturing, and semiconductor materials and processes, deliver technological propositions and visions, promote the feasibility demonstration of technical solutions, and provide consultation and decision-making suggestions for the Institute of Strategy Research.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in computing architectures, computing paradigms, chip manufacturing, and semiconductor materials and processes, including but not limited to strategic insights, industry analysis, technical feasibility analysis, technical propositions, and vision analysis.
- Familiar with near-memory computing, storage-computing integration, approximate computing, analog computing, quantum computing, chip 3D heterogeneous integration, RRAM, and nanoscale optical disk technical fields.
- Have in-depth research and analysis experience in the approximate computing and storage-computing integration fields, and have high-quality deliverables, such as academic papers and research reports.
- Be familiar with the industries of computing architectures, computing paradigms, chip manufacturing, and semiconductor materials and processes in North America, have a good understanding of relevant academic organizations, and have a wide range of connections and resources are preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate with HQ on a regular basis, including travel to HQ.
- Strategic thinking and commercial awareness, with the ability to integrate technical issues with business objectives to provide strategic advice for the long-term development of the company.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage complex technical projects and challenges.
