About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Manager to join our team at Lenovo. As a key member of our ISG Business Unit, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing communication strategies that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with technology partners, industry analyst groups, and regulatory bodies. Act as a primary contact for industry associations and standard-setting organizations.
  • Communication Strategy: Develop and implement communication strategies that resonate within the technology sector. Manage and communicate business unit results, strategy, and plans within the business unit and in collaboration with the corporate strategy and investor relations organization.
  • Content Creation: Prepare quarterly earnings documents, interim and annual reports, scripts, emails, and newsletters to provide corporate transparency to investors and employees. Comply with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations and internal requirements for company information disclosure.
  • Research and Analysis: Monitor and analyze technological trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Provide insights and reports to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Event Management: Organize various investor roadshows, analyst meetings, and large-scale visit events. Collaborate with China IR personnel to develop events and communicate with shareholders and potential investors.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, product development, legal, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and consistent messaging.
Requirements
  • Technical Understanding: Deep knowledge of the technology sector, including emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory landscape.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Networking: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing and executing strategic communication plans tailored to the tech industry.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A degree in a technology-related field is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in industry relations, communications, or a related role within the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the technology industry and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Experience in crisis communication and management within the tech industry.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
