EcoVadis Product and Solutions team, led by our Chief Solutions Officer, is responsible for overseeing the product strategy and prioritization, solution roadmap, and cross-company coordination to drive commercial success of named products and add-ons.

Within the Product and Solutions department, the Carbon team is responsible for the development and growth of EcoVadis Carbon solution. We are looking for a dynamic Product Partnerships leader, reporting to the General Manager, Carbon. The Head of Carbon Partner Ecosystem will be our interface to the Carbon ecosystem and play a key role in expanding the breadth and completeness of our Carbon solution.

This role is a member of the Carbon leadership team with a focus on defining our carbon product partnerships strategy and proactively engaging with potential partners (large tech, System Integrators, Carbon specific ISVs). This position will be responsible for scouting the landscape, having exploratory conversations and eventually negotiating commercial contracts. This includes working closely with EcoVadis leadership, as well as with cross-functional teams in Product & Solutions, Engineering, Solutions Marketing, Legal and Sales.

We are looking for an experienced partnerships operator with a track record of leading complex product partnerships end-to-end, strong business, product, and technical acumen, the ability to work effectively cross-functionally internally and externally, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a desire to drive significant growth of our business.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify product partnerships opportunities, and ensure definition of our Product Partnership strategy
  • Build knowledge on carbon accounting, climate strategy and supply chain decarbonization topics to understand market trends, industry voluntary and compulsory standards, customer segment needs and challenges
  • Create a thorough understanding of the ecosystem of partners both complementary and adjacent to EcoVadis.
  • Identify opportunities to complement EcoVadis offering with the technology / capabilities / solutions of other players
  • Determine possible joint solutions, evaluating market and customer impact, technical feasibility and timeline, expected business case
  • Collaborate closely with the General Solution Manager for Carbon and the Vice President for Carbon and IQ Plus to define our Product Partnership strategy for Carbon
  • Contribute to validation of our Carbon Product Partnerships strategy with EcoVadis leadership and to communication of the strategy to the broad EcoVadis organization
  1. Execute our Product Partnership strategy for Carbon, overseeing solution development with our strategic Ecosystem partners
  • Build trust relationships with the carbon ecosystem, in particular with technology players that present complementarity with EcoVadis offering
  • Structure, negotiate and develop partnerships contracts
  • Be the first point of contact for our product partners
  • Be the bridge between technology partners and internal teams (Product Managers and Engineering) to drive development of joint offering
  • Monitor engagement from partners on co-building the joint offering, ensuring that the Ecosystem product management is building the use cases aligned to the strategy and priority
  1. Manage, deepen and grow partnerships
  • Coordinate co-marketing efforts and co-branded content (whitepapers, concept notes, webinars, blogs, etc), being the bridge between product partners and EcoVadis Solutions Marketing team
  • Deepen both the relationships with our partners and the way in which we work together through product, marketing, support, operations, strategy and planning
  • Be responsible for performance management of the partners, monitoring the success of the joint offering, tracking KPIs, preparing and quarterly business reviews
  • Work closely with our partners and internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal) to ensure smooth resolution of issues, gather feedback and identify and prioritize opportunities
Qualifications
  • University degree (Master’s level), in a sustainability-related field. In Environmental Sciences or Engineering, Economics or other sustainability-related disciplines.
  • 8+ years of experience in a partnership, strategy or business development role within the SaaS technology sector
  • Proven ability to negotiate, sign, launch, and manage partnerships from tactical, mid-size opportunities to complex, strategic partners
  • Entrepreneurial/Founders mindset - ability to pursue new and unprecedented opportunities, pushing beyond “the known”, taking bold steps
  • Presentation and Communication skills, oral and written - Ability to present information and findings clearly so they can be understood by a variety of audiences with different levels of knowledge and interests. English fluent, Other language is a plus
  • Knowledge of carbon accounting (corporate & product), climate strategy and supply chain decarbonization is a plus
  • Demonstrated product sense and experience growing and distributing new products
  • Expertise in product strategy and product development - ability to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of product components, design, features and benefits when communicating product features or design and tailoring the message to meet customer needs. Multitasking & prioritization - ability to handle several responsibilities, work under time constraints, adapt to rapidly changing events and environments, judge priorities, keep track of details.
  • Relationship skills - Ability to listen, Interact well with others, quickly establish rapport, Build relationships, and take account of the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Market and product - ability to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of product components, design, features and benefits when communicating product features or design and tailoring the message to meet customer needs
