Purpose of the Job

HH Global is currently hiring a Business Development Director. This person will be an individual contributor who will drive revenue by pursuing new business. We are looking for a top-performing business development professional who is commercially savvy and has experience of building long-lasting trusted relationships with clients.

This position will be salaried + commission for the first 2 years, after which time, it will be a 100% commission based with no cap on commission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new and significant revenue growth by creating strategic and tactical plans to uncover and close new business opportunities for the company
  • Identify, build, and manage relationships with key stakeholders in order to create selling opportunities with new clients
  • Develop and maintain an expert-level knowledge of HH Global’s strategic solutions and market differentiators in order to deliver products, services, and value to clients
  • Work cross-functionally to identify, implement, and execute company solutions that can add value for new and existing clients
  • Stay current on industry trends affecting existing and prospective clients in order to provide strategic insight to their business
  • Serve as the main point of contact and strategic partner for the client during the sales and onboarding process, maintaining high levels of service and ensuring client expectations are met
  • Plan and coordinate the penetration of new markets and opportunities

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Minimum of 5, ideally 10+ years of professional experience in a revenue target-driven role, leading client relationships, and driving new business. Industry experience preferred
  • Proven track record of negotiating and closing sales
  • Demonstrated history of building relationships and networks with key stakeholders at organizations
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present to mixed audiences and varied levels
  • Ability to travel domestically for client meetings and industry events
