WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for leadership and consultative support for all Human Resources activities, including HR Operations, Employee & Labour Relations, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards, for a portfolio of Health Centre departments. The HRBP manages one (1) union partnership for the Health Centre.

The HRBP works as part of the HR team to ensure the team’s work plan aligns with the organization’s vision, mission, values, and strategic directions.

The HRBP provides operational supervision and direction to the Human Resources Coordinators (HRCs) including training, coaching, and development.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management
  • Graduate degree in a related field
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) in good standing
  • Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) in good standing preferred
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in progressively complex Human Resources positions
  • Demonstrated recent experience as a generalist in a broad range of Human Resources practices (e.g., Recruitment & Retention, Employee & Labour Relations, Training and Development, Compensation, Organizational Effectiveness, Conflict Resolution)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge of program planning, development, facilitation, and evaluation
  • Analytical decision making/problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a good attendance record
