**GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Sr. HR Generalist will deliver comprehensive HR services to our diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on HR best practices, and developing tailored solutions to address unique client needs. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from talent acquisition and employee relations to compliance and performance management. You will be instrumental in fostering positive workplace cultures, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and ensuring our clients achieve their strategic HR objectives. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and exceptional client service skills. Experience with compensation planning and pay equity would be a strong asset.

**KEY DUTIES**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their HR needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Ensure client adherence to labour laws and regulations, including maintaining proper documentation and records.
- Assist clients in implementing and managing performance review systems, including setting performance standards and conducting evaluations.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and development for client companies.
- Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts and disputes, providing guidance and support to both employees and management.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction within client organizations.
- Assist clients in aligning HR strategies with business goals to drive organizational effectiveness.
- Conduct regular HR audits for clients to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance.
- Develop talent acquisition strategies and succession planning for client organizations.
- Manage employee termination processes and offboarding procedures.
- Lead compensation planning projects for clients, including:

- Developing and implementing comprehensive compensation plans, including salary benchmarking, pay structures, incentive plans, and performance-based compensation programs.
- Conducting regular market analysis to ensure competitive compensation packages.
- Managing annual salary review process, including budget recommendations and adjustments.
- Providing guidance to managers on compensation decisions and ensuring internal equity.

**KEY SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Completion of a Diploma in human resources, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- High-level MS Office skill is essential to this role, particular Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of MS PowerPoint or Canva to assist management in creating professional/polished looking presentations.
- Strong comfort level with web-based technology. Prior experience with an HRIS system would be an asset.
- Experience with ERP / CRM / web-based customer management, sales or database systems would be an asset.
- Strong verbal communication skills as well as the ability to clearly express information in written form.

**INTERPERSONAL SKILLS**:

- Professional demeanour and presentation required to deal with business clientele.
- Must be self-motivated and a self-starter who can prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Ability to make decisions and work independently.
- High level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness to effectively interact with peers and a diverse range of clients in different circumstances.
- Ability to deal with confidential information using discretion and tact.
