Job Summary

What is the opportunity?

The Content Creation Specialist supports the WMC Training & Development department to help create and maintain dynamic training content. This role will create customized content for various internal applications using a variety of training tools.

*This role can be based out of Toronto or virtual.

What will you do?
  • Support the Senior Manager of Partnerships & Processes in identifying and creating impactful on demand training material for front office.
  • Responsible for creating content such as job aids, videos, eLearning course content, and in application guidance (using WalkMe / DAP).
  • Suggest and implement new content creation ideas, stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in learning design.
  • Work collaboratively with subject matter experts and product owners to ensure timely reviews and updates to content are completed and to build resources for new rollouts.
  • Collaborate with other groups to create and maintain documented best practices.
  • Work with the Content Creation Team and subject matter experts to review new and existing training materials for translation

  • Thorough knowledge of Wealth Management Industry and Advisor team roles
  • Branch experience is considered an asset
Nice-to-have
  • In-branch Retail Brokerage experience with a strong understanding of business applications, processes and tasks
  • Experience using Asana, Connect
  • Experience working with Snagit, Camtasia, Articulate, WalkMe an asset
