We are in search of a Content Manager to enhance our communication efforts, bring engaging narratives to fruition, connect with our audience, and influence the next stage of growth for Kensington Tours. Reporting directly to the Brand Director, the Content Manager will oversee the creation, management, analysis, and optimization of our content marketing strategies, including our website content. Success in this position will require a commitment to continuously enhancing the content we produce and share with our audience while optimizing our written materials to boost visibility and rankings across search platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong content acumen, a deep understanding of the principles of effective content creation that drives business results, and exceptional editing skills. You will utilize various tools, including web analytics, content management systems, and search engine marketing platforms, to meet your goals. Collaborating closely with our Brand Marketing and Creative teams, you will play a crucial role in developing an award-winning travel brand that offers customized and private guided tours to over 100 countries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all content accurately reflects Kensington Tours' value proposition, tone, and messaging, maintaining the brand's standards across all content formats.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure coherence and drive the creation of new content across diverse platforms and marketing materials, consistently enhancing creative output.
  • Design and implement a top-tier content strategy that captivates audiences and enhances marketing performance, focusing on lead generation, search engine optimization, and customer acquisition.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our organic content using search data tools (GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, AdWords) to gain insights into user intent, trends, and opportunities, optimizing our content to elevate our search engine ranking.
  • Oversee the creation of editorial, commercial, functional, and creative content in various formats (written, print, visual, video) to enhance the performance of our paid, earned, and owned channels.
  • Manage the organization, upkeep, and optimization of our content, ensuring we prioritize the development of high-impact touchpoints and align our creative resources accordingly.
  • Direct the content development process from conception to delivery, collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, develop creative briefs, and supervise production.
  • Assist in the creation of content for Kensington Tours and our business lines, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, on budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in content creation, editing, management, and optimization or marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical abilities.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices, content performance metrics, and the capacity to develop, execute, and continuously refine a data-driven content strategy.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, copy editing, and SEO tools is preferred.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and change while managing cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented with effective time management and planning skills, capable of adapting to shifting schedules and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership mentality (no task is too small) with strong judgment, attention to detail, and an analytical approach.
