Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Downtown Toronto

Experience: 1-2 years in staffing/recruitment

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with new and existing clients in need of staffing solutions.
  • Sales & Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate leads, close deals, and expand the company's client base.
  • Market Research & Strategy: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Account Management: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide tailored staffing solutions.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closure: Craft competitive proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful onboarding of clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure client requirements are met efficiently.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales pipelines, client interactions, and revenue forecasts.

Experience: 1-2 years in a staffing agency, recruitment firm, or related field.

Work Ethic: Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Sales & Communication Skills: Strong ability to pitch services, negotiate deals, and build lasting relationships.

Problem-Solving Mindset: Quick thinker who can handle objections and turn challenges into opportunities.

Resilience & Adaptability: Comfortable with targets, rejection, and a constantly evolving market.

Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
