AKITU Inc. is a fast growing start-up company providing Dental Practice Management Software for dental clinics in Canada. With a core focus on innovation and mastering the user experience our software, Akitu One, brings a unique perspective for dentists to streamline their practice work.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for inside sales, driving revenue growth, and expanding existing accounts. This role requires a strong sales acumen, a deep understanding of SaaS solutions, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. We are looking for a smart, and out of the box thinker to work with the management to define and execute sales strategies successfully.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct inside sales 80% of the time, with 20% dedicated to cold calling and research activities.
- Prospect and engage with potential customers to drive new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our SaaS solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic account plans
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close new business deals
- Drive customer adoption and retention through proactive account management
- Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform sales strategies

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS industry
- Dental industry related experience is an asset
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and meeting KPIs
- Experience with CRM software and sales tools
- Strong drive to achieve sales goals and become a high income earner, strong presentation and negotiation skills are a must
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with customers
- High level of ambition with the initiative and drive to succeed working in a fast paced environment
- Positive attitude and enjoys working with people.
- SaaS experience is desired
- Having previous experience in dental field is a big asset.
