Material & Logistics Planner

Material & Logistics Planner

We're seeking a skilled Material & Logistics Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, releasing, and tracking the delivery of materials and parts needed for production, ensuring that production schedules are met and inventories are kept to a minimum using just-in-time principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and follow up on parts delivery to meet production schedules
  • Collaborate with suppliers and carriers to find creative solutions and avoid production disruptions
  • Analyze and implement strategies to meet just-in-time objectives
  • Manage commercial relationships with suppliers and negotiate in the best interests of the company
  • Identify and coordinate areas of improvement in line with team objectives
  • Establish recovery plans with suppliers and communicate with them as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in administration, operations management, or a related field, or DEC in administration or a related field with 18 to 36 months of experience
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English (4⁄5) to communicate with internal stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead projects
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to negotiate
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a changing environment
  • Team player with solid priority management skills
