We are seeking a skilled Material Planner to join our team at BRP. As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for planning, releasing, and tracking the delivery of materials and parts needed for production, ensuring that production schedules are met and inventories are kept to a minimum using just-in-time principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and follow up on parts delivery
  • Interact with suppliers and carriers to find creative solutions and avoid production shutdowns
  • Analyze the best strategies to meet just-in-time objectives
  • Manage commercial relationships with suppliers and negotiate with the best interests of BRP in mind
  • Identify and coordinate areas of improvement in line with team objectives
  • Establish recovery plans with suppliers and meet with them if necessary
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in administration, operations management, or any other related field, or DEC (college diploma) in administration or any other related field and 18 to 36 months of experience
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English (4/5) to communicate with internal stakeholders located outside Quebec or unilingual Anglophone on a daily basis
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP
  • Willingness to travel when necessary
  • Autonomy and leadership
  • Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment
  • Team player with solid priority management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to negotiate
