Position: Casual CLBC Residence Support Worker (Masset)

HAIDA GWAII SOCIETY for COMMUNITY PEACE

  • No experience necessary, On-the-job training provided

    CLBC Residence Workers provide respectful daily living support to adult residents with developmental disabilities living in the CLBC 24-hour group home. While working in close cooperation with the CLBC Community Support Worker team, you will be enhancing and supporting the quality of life for individuals by providing opportunities for full involvement in their community.

    Compensation: Classification: Residence Worker

    Day & Evening shifts: JJEP Wage Grid Levels 10

    $ /hour (with additional 10.6% wage bonus: $28.70/ hr - $32.91/hr)

    Asleep Night Shifts: JJEP Wage Grid Levels 5

    $ /hour (with additional 10.6% wage bonus: $25.37/ hr - $29.07/hr)

    *Mileage paid as per BCGEU Collective Agreement

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Grade 12 Secondary School diploma or GED equivalent
    • Courses, certificate, or diploma in a related human/social service field would be an asset.
    • Class 5 Drivers License & clean drivers abstract.
    • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check for Vulnerable Sector
    • This position is required to use their vehicle in the course of their duties.
    • This position requires two doses of Covid-19 vaccination as per CLBC policy and current Public Health Order For a full job description, visit
