Exhibit Clerk

The City of Campbell River seeks a Part-Time Exhibit Clerk to manage seized, stolen, and found property, as well as illegal drug and firearm exhibits for the Campbell River RCMP detachment.

About the Role

The Exhibit Clerk will be responsible for the receipt, maintenance, control, storage, security, and disposal of exhibits. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of exhibits
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure exhibits are secure and accounted for
  • Process and store exhibits in a secure and controlled environment
  • Collaborate with police officers and other stakeholders to ensure exhibits are properly handled and stored
  • Dispose of exhibits in accordance with regulations and policies
Requirements
  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Four years recent office administration experience, including at least one year at a police detachment
  • One year working with PRIME workflow or equivalent police records information management environment
  • Ability to pass and maintain an RCMP Reliability security screening
